Since 1992 The Transcontinental Piano Duo has given workshops, master classes and performances nationwide, performing in university settings, at professional conferences, and in community concert series across the United States. Reviews note the Duo’s “impeccable ensemble”, “great musicianship and versatility”, and “delicate phrasing and expressive lines…many moments of brilliance and excitement.“ Performances, workshop presentations, and master classes have taken the Transcontinental Piano Duo to concert venues in CA, NC, SC, NY, OH, CT, WI, AZ, NH, MA, NJ and VT. Recent highlights include an enthusiastically received workshop on duo piano techniques presented at the World Piano Pedagogy Conference, a performance at Arizona’s prestigious Steinway Chamber Music Festival, and their latest recording, French Piano Four-Hands with the Elegant Erard (1877)… music of Debussy, Fauré, Bizet, and Ravel performed on an historic instrument… released by Centaur Records. In addition,they were chosen as presenters for the 2012 MTNA national conference, held at the Hilton, New York City.

The Transcontinental Piano Duo is excited about sharing their innovative performances, workshops and master classes with audiences coast to coast. The Duo offers a variety of programs, including a special recital with commentary focusing upon various aspects of four-hands playing and duo repertoire. Professional performers and passionate teachers who have earned praise nationwide, their joint master classes (solo or duo repertoire) have been enthusiastically received by teachers and participants at the pre-college through graduate student level.
